Another Lovely Stay at The Bridge The new owners haven't dropped the ball at all. A delightful two night stay with a delicious dinner on the first night. All staff professional yet friendly and attentive. Glorious to sit in the Potting Shed sipping ice cold drinks in the sunshine / shade. Due to the nature of the building some of the rooms area bit small but still comfortable. narrow stairs and unexpected steps may not suit those with slight mobility issues.
Date Night We’ve been meaning to eat here for a while and finally got around to it. I’d booked a table by phone and we sat in the garden as it was warm and convivial. Lots of others were eating and drinking and the atmosphere was lovely, we even spotted a couple of our neighbours. Our food choices were a Lamb Croquette with Humus and Chermoula Dips (outstanding) then main dishes of Fillet Ends, Mushrooms and Green Bean with Chips & Salad with Pickled Fennel and a Gnocchi and Chicken Ragout. We had some Olives as nibbles and Raspberry Sorbet as dessert. Our choice of drinks was Chardonnay and IPA. All for just over £80 plus a tip - excellent value for the quality on offer. Service was top drawer, we were very well looked after. We parked on the road. I’ve a sneaking feeling that we might rock up for a Sunday Lunch in the near future.Contact our team today for further information – we look forward to hearing from you.
